Winter trail to Roundtop

The trail from Carson Pass to Winnemucca Lake with Roundtop Mountain in the background.  I hiked out there with snowshoes a couple of days ago to enjoy the freshly fallen snow.  It was a great day to get out with about 12 ~ 18" of freshly fallen snow and reasonable temperatures in the 30's and 40's.  You can also check out another winter landscape I captured in a video of the mountain peaks surrounding the Echo Lakes basin the previous week here.
