Pine on the mountain

A jeffery pine on a mountain top within the volcanic tablelands of the Mono crater range.  This tree and mountain top are shown from a more distant view in the first image below.

Photographed with a drone at sunset near my camp during a 3 day motorcycle camping trip on the eastern side of the Sierra.  Other images below were captured within the Mono craters or some of the surrounding lands.  With all the campgrounds closed due to the somewhat illogical COVID19 shutdowns, I utilized some of the my more off-the-grid dry camp locations accessed with the off-road abilities of my adventure motorcycle.  One advantage of the shutdown has been having a lot less people on these backroads, with the exception of CHP that seem to be omni-present on the Highway 395 corridor.
