Northern Pintail fly-by

I was there last month teaching a bird photography workshop and leading a field trip as part of the California Swan Festival.  Colusa NWR tends to be a good location for photography due to a deck well positioned along the edge of a large pond where many of the waterfowl tend to congregate.  Given it is inside the refuge and gets a lot of visitor traffic, the birds here tend to be more accustomed to people, and thus enabling closer photography opportunities.
