Another world

The transit of Venus at sunset. Photographed with a 700mm lens equivalent while focusing on an oak tree on a distant hill top.  Clouds partially obscured the sun for this astronomically rare event, but added to the mood for this composition. The next time we will see this is in the year 2117.
