Rough shoreline

Shoreline along Mono Lake on a windy evening at sunset.  These conditions can be challenging to for getting a captivating image. For this image a 6-stop ND filter was applied in order to slow down the exposure enough to provide some smoothness to the water.  Use of the sidelighting with a wide angle and getting close helps to bring out the texture of these tufa formations.  You can see more of my Mono Lake shots from this trip here.
