Yosemite meadow alpine goldenrod

Alpine Goldenrod wildflowers in a meadow of Yosemite Valley with Half Dome in the distance at sunrise.  Taken in the morning prior to hike up to the top of the famous granite dome. Recent forest fires reduced the visibility in the mornings, creating a more hazy sky, but also resulting in slight softer light.
