A falconer's Kestrel

A Kestrel sitting on the gloved hand of a falconer.  Birds of prey such as this smaller kestrel can be trained by a falconer to hunt on the command of the handler. This particular bird  was photographed at the West Coast Falconry center located east of Marysville.  You can see more images on my recent visit to this facility here.
