Kiva at dusk

The 'False Kiva' as photographed in the Canyonlands National Park at dusk. These are the remains of an ancient Anasazi indian structure whose purpose is not fully understood, but could represent some type of ceremonial function given its size and exposure. Hiked down to this location during recent travels to the canyonlands country as part of a 12 day photography and canyoneering trip through the southwest.
