Sleeping Coyote

A coyote getting a little rest-eye in the late afternoon sun. I found this one in a more remote area of the American River Parkway. After getting a handful of shots from a distance using my 500mm + 1.4x teleconverter, I decided to let sleeping dogs lie and continue on with my hike.
