Picture of the week

Great Egret at sunset in Little Estero lagoon near Fort Meyers, Florida.  In my opinion this location should probably rank as one of the top ten bird photography locations in the country.  Myself and Don Van Dyke covered much of south-west Florida for bird photography over the course of a week, and this location had a very high hit rate due to the attractive lighting, stillness of the water in this protected lagoon, and the tameness of the bird wildlife.
