Picture of the week

Snowy Plover on Limantour Beach at Point Reyes National Seashore.  There are only about 2100 of these birds along the Pacific coast between Washington and Baja California. You can learn more about this threatened species here: http://www.nps.gov/pore/naturescience/birds_snowyplover.htm.
