Picture of the week

The locally famous hanging tree on the Fair Oaks bluff along the American River Parkway.  The relatively firm clay soil has so far held tree in this position as long I can remember, having grown up in this area.  Photographed on a relatively colorful evening after a clearing storm on April 12, 2010.
