Picture of the week

Morning colors of the desert in Borrego Springs, located near the center of Anza Borrego desert state park. This place can be somewhat desolate during the day.  But under the morning (or evening) light, the colors can come alive from the variety of cactus and other plantlife that is so plentiful in this area.  Compared to other desert parks Anza Borrego seems to have large diversity of plantlife including wildflowers in the spring.
