Foggy reflection

A great egret foraging on a foggy morning inside Tomales Bay of the Point Reyes National seashore. 

This week photographs from a three day kayak camping trip on Tomales Bay last week are shown. I paddled out there with two other friends, exploring up and down the bay after establishing a base camp at one of the boat-in only beach campgrounds.  We had the fortune of relatively good weather with some foggy mornings and like weather conditions depending on the time of day and location relative to the mouth of the bay.

Most of the images here were captured with my Canon EOS 90D with the EF 100-400L f/4.5-5.6 lens.  This is probably might favorite lens for this type of travel.  I have a deck mounted dry bag setup on my kayak where I can keep this camera setup handy while on the water, and stow during rougher weather conditions or when launching or landing.
