Buttercup sunrise

Field of Buttercup wildflowers up on Monitor Pass at sunrise.  Alpine wildflowers are starting to reach their peak up in the Eastern Sierras about a thousand feet below the snow line. While it appears it is still a little early on the  western slope of the Sierras due to the amount of snow this season.
