Rendezvous in Glacier Bay

A capture from my kayak while paddling toward our pickup point along the coast of Mount Wright in Glacier Bay after 5 days of sea kayaking up the East Arm, exploring the Muir and Adams inlets.  This morning we got up at 4am, breaking camp at Adams Inlet, and hitting the water by 5:15 after a quick breakfast, to meet the 8am rendezvous time, catching the outbound tide to speed our journey.  Mornings also have the benefit of calmer water which makes the going much easier in comparison to some rougher seas we had earlier in our travels.

I just returned from this Alaska trip and have yet to process most of my images, with this being a sample from this wonderous wilderness area of southeast Alaska.  This wlll be a trip I will never forget, with sights and experiences that you will never see anywhere else.  More images and details of this trip will come in the following weeks.
