Egyptian Goose

An Egyptian Goose as photographed at Lake Natomas last week. This goose is a vagrant as it is not normally found in this region, as it is more indigenous to North Africa. It is unclear how it got here. Possibly an escape from a zoo or some bird collection, or perhaps a migrant that took the wrong way?
