Great egret still life

Great egret perched within a swampy area along the Cosumnes River on an early morning. Photographed this from a kayak while drifting up to the bird with my 100-400 zoom.  Early morning at sunrise tend to be the best time for bird photography when they start to come out for their morning feeding.
