Young doe

A young mule deer walking among the leaves out at Effie Yeaw Nature Center, located along the American River Parkway in Carmichael California.  I was looking for coyotes, but had to settle for this cute little doe instead.  The deer and other wildlife at Effie Yeaw can be more tame and approachable than found elsewhere; even other areas of the parkway.  As a result it can be a fruitful location for  wildlife related photography.
